InvoiceRocket + Razorpay
How InvoiceRocket and Razorpay work alongside each other today — and the parts we haven't built yet. Written honestly so you can decide before signing up, not after.
Frequently asked questions
- Does InvoiceRocket integrate with Razorpay via API?
- Not today. There is no Razorpay API integration, no webhook listener, and no Pay-with-Razorpay button on invoices. What works is the UPI standard — Razorpay's consumer apps and the VPA you receive from Razorpay both work with the UPI QR codes InvoiceRocket renders into invoice PDFs.
- Can I put my Razorpay UPI ID on InvoiceRocket invoices?
- Yes. In Settings → Payment details, enter the Razorpay-issued VPA (typically <handle>@razorpay or similar). It will appear on the invoice and inside the embedded UPI QR code automatically.
- How do I record a Razorpay payment in InvoiceRocket?
- Open the invoice → click 'Add payment' → enter the amount Razorpay credited, the date, and paste the Razorpay payment ID into the reference field. Repeat for partial payments. The invoice status updates automatically when fully paid.
- Can I import Razorpay settlements automatically?
- Not yet. You can export the Razorpay settlements CSV and reconcile manually, or upload monthly Razorpay statements and let InvoiceRocket's AI extractor pull processing fees into expenses. Native auto-import is on the roadmap but not committed.
- What about international payments via Razorpay?
- Razorpay supports international payments (cards, foreign UPI). InvoiceRocket handles the invoice side — multi-currency, FX gain/loss against the booked INR equivalent, and FIRC tracking — but you'll record the foreign-currency payment manually after Razorpay settles.
- Is there an alternative if I really need automation?
- If automated reconciliation is critical to your workflow today, Refrens and Zoho Invoice both have direct Razorpay payment-gateway integrations. We've written honest comparisons of both on this site if you want to evaluate them against InvoiceRocket's other strengths.
